Central India Tiger Reserves (LEG 2) — The Jungle & the Grasslands
This is LEG 2 of the Central India Tiger Reserve workshops. It is a 9 day journey that covers 12 game drives in 2 National Parks—Pench and Tadoba.
It can be combined with LEG 1 for an 18 day journey through 4 National Parks, adding another 12 game drives in Bandhavgarh and Kanha. If you would like to sign up for the combined 18 day workshop ($11,500 twin sharing) ($3,600 Single Supplement), please mention it when you send an enquiry.
In this workshop, we continue our journey through the Tiger Reserves of Central India by visiting Pench Tiger Reserve and Tadoba Tiger Reserve. At Pench National Park known for its rich wildlife and dramatic landscapes, offers endless opportunities for photographers. With its beautiful blend of Teak forests, open grasslands and winding riverbeds Pench makes for a beautiful backdrop when photographing any subject.Tadoba National Park on the other hand, is one of India’s most exciting wilderness landscapes, known for its dense forests, bamboo thickets, and thriving tiger population. From dramatic predator sightings to glowing sunsets over the lakes, Tadoba offers photographers a raw and untamed safari experience filled with powerful wildlife moments and striking natural beauty.From

Pench and Tadoba Workshop Itinerary

February 15th
Welcome to india! Upon arrival in Delhi, you’ll be greeted and transferred to your hotel, where the group will get together for a briefing about our adventure ahead.

February 16th
Fly to Nagpur and drive to Pench National Park for about 3 hours. Settle into your lodge and prepare for the game drives ahead.

February 17th
After the morning game drive, we will spend the afternoon conducting a debrief about the previous game drives, photo review and post processing session.

Morning and afternoon game drives.

Morning and afternoon game drives.

February 20th
After our morning game drive we will drive for about 5 hours to our lodge in Tadoba National Park.

February 21st - 23rd
Enjoy morning and evening game drives. Capture images of predator and prey in different lights and discuss the days photography as a group.

February 24th
Post breakfast drive back to Nagpur airport for your flight to Delhi.
Pench Tree Lodge, PenchWaghoba Eco Lodge, TadobaThroughout your safari, you will stay in luxury lodges close to all our game drive entry gates. These accommodations have been selected keeping our photography workshops in mind.In Pench you will stay at Pench Tree Lodge an eco lodge furnished with exquisite local crafts and unique safari style furniture. In Tadoba you will stay at Waghoba Eco Lodge. This 12 acres of land is set beautifully in the buffer zone of Tadoba National Park.What's Included

Getting Here
Arrival
Fly into Delhi International Airport (DEL) and connect domestically to Nagpur Airport (NAG). A private vehicle meets you on arrival and transfers you directly to Pench Tree Lodge in Pench — approximately three hours through Madhya Pradesh.
Departure
On Day 9 a private vehicle transfers you from Waghoba Eco Lodge to Nagpur Airport (NAG) — approximately three hours. From Nagpur you connect back to Delhi for international onward flights.
